Book a Test

Patients choose which type of test they need to take in a certain lab and before check-out they may also choose their appointment schedule from the available appointment schedules.

Here are the steps patients need to follow when booking their tests:

  1. Open the shop link that the laboratory will provide.

  2. Choose among the listed test the patient would like to book and click “View Item” to add the test to your cart.

  3. Click “Review Cart” once you have added the test to your cart.

  4. Click “ Continue” if all the test the patient needs to book is already on the cart.

  5. Click “No Patient” at the Patient Information and Schedule, click “Register” if the patient has no retrieval code yet. If the patient has a retrieval code, provide the email and retrieval code and click “Update”

  6. Choose among the available payment option which one would be most convenient for the patient.

  7. Click “Checkout” to finalize your order. A confirmation form will be sent to the patient email but the patient will also have the option to manually download it on the same page.

  8. Present the order confirmation on the day of the patient’s appointment.

Step-by-step guide on booking a test

  1. Visit the laboratory's shop link

2. Click “VIEW ITEM” for more information about the test

3. Choose the quantity (how many) of the same test you want to book

4. Read the description of the test to make sure it's what you need

Note: The description contains the description of the test, how much the test is, what you need to prepare for the test, the collection site/venue that you can also view via Google Maps, and the contact information for further concerns.

Click open in Google Maps if you want to view how to get to the site.

The contact details of the lab is shown in this section in case you have any concerns or questions about the test that is not part of the description section.

5. Click "ADD TO CART" for the test to be part of your purchase

6. Click "REVIEW CART" to view the contents of your cart

7. Review the content of your cart

Click "x" if you added a test that you do not need to delete it from your cart.

A prompt will pop up if the excess order is removed from your cart.

8. Click "CONTINUE" after reviewing the contents of your cart

9. Click "No patient" to add a patient

10. Input the patient's email address and retrieval code and click "UPDATE"

Note: One user can book for multiple patients provided that they know the patient's email address and retrieval code.

If the patient does not have a retrieval code click "Register Now" and it will direct the patient to the Electronic Patient Registration Form.

A prompt will show at the bottom right side of the screen if the patient has been successfully added.

If the patient is not registered at the lab it will show "Patient not found - Please try again"

A checkmark will appear at the right side of the patient's name if the patient is registered under the laboratory.

11. Click "No appointment schedule" to choose your preferred date and time of the test

12. Choose a date of when you want to visit the lab

13. Choose a time interval slot for your appointment

14. Click "SUBMIT" once you have chosen a date and time

A prompt will show up if the schedule was successfully added.

15. Click "PROCEED TO CHECK OUT" if both patient and schedule has a checkmark

16. Input the patient's information

17. Review the order summary if all needed tests are there

18. Choose from the available payment option

19. Click "COMPLETE ORDER" after providing the payment details

Before closing the tab, check your email inbox for the order confirmation. In the event that no email was received click "RESEND CONFIRMATION" for the confirmation to be re-sent to the provided email.

Patients may also opt to manually download a copy of the order confirmation to their device by clicking "Download Order Confirmation" on the same page.
