Laboratory Services

The user is able to create, view, update and delete the available tests offered by the laboratory here.

Laboratory Services Table

The user is able to view the name, test type, available machines, documents, active status and "auto generate barcode" status.

Create Laboratory Service Form

Upon clicking the blue "Create" button, the user will be redirected to create a new laboratory service. The user must fill out the laboratory service's name, its specimen type, its department, its description, its preparatory instructions intended for patients, its setting to automatically generate barcodes and its setting to automatically tag "Collected At" when manually added before clicking the "Create" button to submit the form.

Update Laboratory Service

The user is able to edit an existing laboratory service by clicking the "Update" icon beside the name of the laboratory service. The user will be redirected to the laboratory service's settings.

Laboratory Service Settings

Upon clicking the "Update" icon, the user is able to select to update the laboratory service settings, its service field settings, its variants, its documents, its stages, its products, its audit logs and the option to delete.

Laboratory Service Settings > Update

Upon selecting "Update", the user will be redirected to the laboratory service's update form. The user can edit the laboratory service's name, its department, its specimen type, its machine type, its description, its preparatory instructions intended for patients, its barcode prefix, its compliance document, its setting to become active, its setting to show a summary of other patient services, its setting to automatically generate barcodes and its setting to automatically tag "Collected At" when manually added.

Laboratory Service Settings > Service Field Settings

Upon clicking "Service Field Settings", the user is able to create, view, update and delete fields of the laboratory service. The Service Field Settings table shows the service, its name, its ID, its category, its index, its unit, its data type and its reference ranges.

Upon clicking the "Create" button, the user will be redirected to the Create Service Field Settings form. The user must type in the relevant laboratory service and click the "+" symbol of the desired field/s to be included in the laboratory service. A confirmation message will be shown to notify the user that the service field has been added.

The user is able to update the laboratory service field by clicking the "Update" icon beside the name of the service field. Once redirected, the user is able to update the laboratory service field's display, its units, its reference ranges, its data collection settings and its option for deletion.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Service Variants

Upon clicking "Laboratory Service Variants", the user is able to create, view, update and delete variants of the laboratory service. The Service Variants table shows the name and the number of service field settings included.

Upon clicking the "Create" button, the user will be redirected to the Create Service Variant form. The user must type in the variant name and select the service fields to be added.

The user is able to update the laboratory service variant by clicking the "Update" icon beside the name of the service variant . Once redirected, the user is able to update the laboratory service variant and its option for deletion.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Service Documents

Upon clicking "Laboratory Service Documents", the user is able to create, view, update and delete documents of the laboratory service. The Laboratory Documents table shows the name of the document, status of emailing clients, status of emailing patients and status of emailing all patients.

Upon clicking the "Create" button, the user will be redirected to the Create Laboratory Document form. The user must select the document template.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Service Documents > Update Icon

The user is able to update the laboratory document by clicking the "Update" icon beside the name of the document. Once redirected, the user is able to update its email settings and its option for deletion.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Service Stages

Upon clicking "Laboratory Service Stages", the user is able to create, view, update and delete stages of the laboratory service. The Service Stages table shows its step, its name, its laboratory batch and its description.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Service Stages > Create Button

Upon clicking the "Create" button, the user will be redirected to the Create Service Stage form. The user must enter the stage name, its description and its option to be used for laboratory batch specimens only.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Service Stages > Update Icon

The user is able to update the laboratory stage by clicking the "Update" icon beside the name of the stage. Once redirected, the user is able to update its stage settings and its option for deletion.

Laboratory Service Settings > Laboratory Products

Upon clicking "Laboratory Products", the user will be redirected to the laboratory's products. View Laboratory Product of the Shop module for more information.

Laboratory Service Settings > Audit Logs

Upon clicking the "Audit Logs", the user will be redirected to the laboratory's audit logs. View Audit Log from the laboratory settings of the General Module for more information.

Laboratory Service Settings > Delete

Upon clicking "Delete", the user will be asked to confirm the deletion of the laboratory service.
