Notification Triggers - Sending to Multiple Recipients

Part I - Creating the Notification Trigger

  1. From your Dashlabs Portal, go to Settings > Notification Triggers (On the left side of your screen)

  2. On the Notification Triggers page, select create and fill up the fields

  • A - Name of the Notification Trigger

  • B - This is the trigger type. For example, if we're sending emails, then we set this to "Email"

  • C - This is the trigger itself. For example, if we want to send the email using the Patient Service Results Page, then we select the option shown on the screenshot.

  • D - Email address of the recipients

  • E - Subject of the email

  • F - Select “Use Existing”

  • G - This contains the list of templates created. You can also send us your preferred template or designs so we can create and customize the body of the email for you.

  • H - This will only activate this notification trigger based on the client selected. For example, if this Notification Trigger is set to Client A, then this Notification Trigger will only activate for Patient Services associated with Client A. If we leave this field blank, the Notification Trigger will activate for all Patient Services (or whichever trigger type is selected) when we send the email.

  • I - Set the Notification Trigger as active to enable the feature. Once good, click on create.

  1. Once Notification Trigger has been created, it will be added in the Notification Triggers list

Part II - Sending to Multiple Recipients

  1. Open the specific Patient Service that you would like to send the results. Go to the results page.

  2. Once ready to send the email, select Documents. Below, you should see the list of documents available for this Lab Service

  3. Click on “Send Notification” to send the email to the recipients configured during the creation of our Notification Trigger. Note: “Send Notification” will only appear for new certificates. If the Lab Service is using an old certificate, it will look like the one on the right and will not have the option to send to multiple recipients.

Part III - Monitoring Email Delivery Status

  1. Back to the homepage of your Dashlabs Portal, you should see a Notification Logs option on the left side of your screen

  2. Open this and you should be able to monitor the status of the email sent using the “Notification Trigger”.
