What are Laboratory Products?

Products allow you to set prices for services and items so that they can be ordered in the POS.

General setup

Create a product

Products can be set up in Store products. The example below shows how to create a product for POS following the setup form.

Add multiple product price

In this example, we created a price for HMO and Regular price.

Updating a store product

If you wish to change details about your product, go to its page and find the relevant section for the settings you wish to change

Update product store access

This is to separate the products to store that don't have this test or service available at their lab.

Update lab services, fields and variants

Note: It is possible to add multiple lab services, variants and fields in products or packages.

  • Lab Service Fields

    This is to attach the specific test or service to the product in results-input of patient services

  • Lab Service Variants This is to attach the specific group of tests or services to the product in results-input of patient services

  • Lab Services

    This is to attach the whole Lab Services to the product in results-input of patient services

Update product price access

This is to separate the prices from each branch as other branches might have different price for each product.

Adding Package

You can also add package by adding multiple Laboratory service, lab variant and lab service field.
