Coupons

Laboratories also have the option to make coupons that would be accepted when patients book their tests using the Dashlabs.ai software. The coupons may be for discounts or other promos the laboratory would want to give out to their patients.

Coupons

The option to make their own coupons is available for the laboratory at the Finance and Shop section.

There are two available options:

• Single Coupon: Individually create a type of coupon

• Batch Coupon: Create multiple different coupon types at the same time.

Create Coupon Click on “Create Coupon” to create a custom coupon.

Single Coupon

A single coupon may be customized for use by certain patients who will book their appointment via the online shop.

Create Single Coupon

Click on the “Create Single Coupon” option when creating one type of coupon.

Coupon Code Input the Coupon code that the patients will use when booking a test through the online shop. Take note that the coupon code is case sensitive and only the code recognized by the system will be accepted during checkout.

Description Encode the Description of the coupon, a brief explanation for what the coupon is for. It contains information of which laboratory services it could be used for, the percentage of discount and maximum deduction possible, and the expiration date of the coupon.

Total Encode the Total number of times an individual patient can use the coupon.

Allowed Retrieval Codes Input the Allowed Retrieval Codes that could use the coupon separated by commas.

Discount Input the Discount percentage that is allowed for the coupon. The valid numbers allowed for the input is between 0 to 100.

Deduction Input the Deduction which is the maximum amount in peso the coupon discount would be able to subsidize from the total amount of purchase of the particular patient.

Laboratory administrators may also customize which of the available lab services could the coupon be used for.

Select coupon expiry date

The coupon expiration date is also determined by the laboratory administrator. This is the span of until when could the patients use the particular code.

After all the fields have been filled out, click on “Create” for the coupon to be generated.

Batch Coupon

Coupons may be uploaded in one batch regardless of whether or not there are differences between the usage of the coupons.

Create Batch Coupon Choose the option of “Create Batch Coupon” to upload various types of coupons in one update.

Coupon Upload Template

Download the .csv template to use for batch uploading of coupons to be created.

Once downloaded, the .csv file can be accessed using any spreadsheet application. This is where you will input the following information:

• code (coupon code): The code that the patients will input upon check out.

• description: The description of what the coupon is for.

• discount: The percentage from 0-100 of how much the discount would be when using the coupon.

• deduction: The maximum amount in peso to be deducted from the patient’s total bill.

• total: The number of times a coupon may be used.

• expires at: The date of when the coupon is no longer available for usage.-allowed retrieval codes: Patient retrieval codes that may use the coupon are listed separated by commas.

Once the information has been encoded on the .csv file, save it and upload it on the batch coupons section.

If the file was successfully uploaded, a prompt saying “File /Coupon Upload Template.csv/ successfully added” will show up at the bottom-left part of the screen. Take note that the prompt will vary depending on what you named the .csv file to be.

The list of uploaded files will be shown on the screen. You may add more than one template at a time.

Select Laboratory Services valid for coupon

Choose from the list of laboratory services available to which ones the coupon may be used for.

Create Batch Once all the needed information has been encoded, click on “Create Batch” for the coupons to reflect on the online shop.
